Horse racing may be an individual challenge, but our version is all about the teamwork. We divide your group into small teams, who compete with one another as they train horses, bet on race outcomes and even sabotage rivals. No real horse-racing experience is required, so every member of your group can feel good about jumping in.
The event plays out over a series of races, with players interacting using their computers. Each race starts with a short overview of the track and conditions. Using this knowledge, teams work together to devise their race strategies. Everyone’s screens display constantly changing payouts, with updates of each horse’s speed, power, training and chances of winning each race.
It’s easy to get caught up in the excitement as players cheer, place bets, train their own horses or sabotage others. After six races have been run, the team with the most winnings takes their rightful place in the winners’ circle. The big takeaway? Teams are most successful when they plan and coordinate their actions together.
