At TeamBonding, we’ve facilitated tons of team building activities in Durham, Raleigh, and Chapel Hill, and the Mystery Bus is an all-time favorite. It’s always a hit—everyone loves getting on the bus and wondering where they’re going, and the facilitators keep it fun on the road, too.
You’ll go to three or four locations, usually including at least one culinary adventure, one light physical activity, and one cultural experience. It’s also among the most creative, customizable options around, and you’re welcome to request specific destinations!
Memorable Mystery Bus Stops
One of the most memorable Mystery Bus experiences we’ve facilitated included a stop at a halfway house where we helped clean up their yard. Truly a rewarding experience.
After another one, the group had a bunch of leftover food from a culinary experience. The team offered to package it up and then handed out those packages of food by the train station on their way to their next destination!
2. Infinite Loop
Team Size: 10-250
Time Needed: 2-3 Hours
The Infinite Loop is a fast-paced VR (virtual reality for the uninitiated) experience that everyone seems to love. From the facilitators to the teams, everyone always has a blast.
A lot of the corporate events in Raleigh, NC, that teams end up going wild for are techy. It’s such a tech and IT-based city, and tech companies tend to love our VR activities most of all.
This one has everyone trying to rescue a prisoner trapped in a VR world, and it’s designed to highlight the power of continuous feedback and improvement. Each person gets access to crucial information, but no one gets the full picture without teamwork.
