In this series of articles we take five minutes to chat with a member of the TeamBonding team so you can get an idea of the sort of people we are. In this installment we chat with our new Corporate Events Manager, Arielle, who has quite the adventurous spirit!
How long have you been with Team Bonding, and what got you started in Event Management?
I have been with Team Bonding for almost a month now. I received my undergrad in Sport/Event/Entertainment Management from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI.
I have had a passion for planning events ever since I was little and I was always planning a party for any occasion. When I found out Johnson & Wales University had a program for event management I “hit the ground running”. And now here I am 4 years later working for Team Bonding as one of the Corporate Event Managers!
What was one of your biggest accomplishments:
One of my biggest accomplishments was completing my first Spartan Sprint Race in Amesbury, MA this summer (2014). It was just under 5 miles and I couldn’t do it without John’s support and the rest of my Crossfit team! It’s true what they say, “You’ll know at the finish line” and trust me it was the best feeling crossing that finish line!
Describe yourself in three adjectives.
Advantageous, Proactive, Resilient
What do you do with your free time?
I have many passions and love to always try new things! Since I was seven I have been riding horses. I have competed nationally throughout the east coast and my mom was always my number one cheerleader at the horse shows and I loved to see her smile when I would ride. Unfortunately, I couldn’t take my horse Wess to college, but still see him when I get the chance to go home to visit.
Throughout some time, I got into Crossfit through John and have been loved it ever since! Lastly, I love to spend my free time with our two dogs being outside and adventurous.
Something people don’t know about you is..?
In the summer of 2013 I got the opportunity to travel to Australia for a study abroad program. I visited Melbourne and Sydney where I climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge!
