In this series of articles, we take five minutes to chat with a member of the TeamBonding team so you can get an idea of the sort of people we are.
In this installment we talk to Molly, our new Marketing Coordinator, about moths and sushi.
What is the most important thing in life?
To me, the most important thing in life is to be happy. Being happy at work, school, and with people that surround you. If you aren’t happy you aren’t living! Something important that goes along with this is knowing that you can’t always be happy 24/7. You have to make the most of the happiness you do have. My biggest aspiration in life is to be the happiest version of myself I can be.
What are your pet peeves?
It drives me absolutely insane when people buy a new pair of pants or jeans and take the back tags off but leave the two little sewn in strings that are left behind. I notice it on everyone and take the string off every chance I can get. Of course I don’t do this to strangers!
Another pet peeve I have is silly, but, when I have chipped nail polish I could explode! I don’t let it ruin my day but it is definitely on my mind until I get the chance to fix it.
What are your phobias?
I have a severe phobia when it comes to moths. Really, I hate all bugs but moths especially because they are dusty and don’t really seem like they know how to fly very gracefully. There have been instances where I’ve cried… I recall those times as confirmation of my phobia and they helped me realize how absolutely grossed out by moths I really am. I have a great aunt (RIP) who also shared my fear of moths so maybe she passed it on to me?
What can’t you live without?
First and foremost I can’t live without my family and my kitten, Vera. I’m also not sure if I would make it without frequent trips to Marshalls, TJ Maxx and Ulta. Another obvious answer for me is music because it gets me through everything!
If you could eat anything for the rest of your life what would it be?
Sushi, preferably rainbow maki.
