Jonathan

Lead Facilitator

The Team Building Team

In this series of articles, we take five minutes to chat with a member of the TeamBonding team so you can get an idea of the sort of people we are. In this installment, we talk to one of our facilitators, Jonathan about his sugar cravings, survival kit, and his wish for truth serum!

What is your favorite part of working for TeamBonding?
I love helping people have an awesome time. I realize this sounds like the diplomatic answer to make myself sound like a good employee, and I should acknowledge that being flown all over the country is a pretty great perk too, but it’s just cool to be a part of something where folks come in and have a great time playing games with each other. To be able to walk away from a group that is laughing, cheering and a bit better connected, and think “We did that,” it’s a pretty cool feeling.

If you could take only three items with you on a deserted island, what would they be?
A helicopter, a DVD labeled “How to Fly a Helicopter for Beginners” and a battery-powered TV/DVD player. Why? Did anyone else say something different?

What is one food group you can’t live without?
Is sugar a food group?

If you could choose one superpower, what would it be and why?
Teleportation. No longer would friends and I be separated by the fact that they live in other cities or countries, I could get into any event I wanted, and I could travel the world. If I decide to become a superhero, this power would be critical in saving people from burning buildings, avalanches and other terrifying scenarios. In short, the world would be my oyster.

If you could time travel, would you go to the past or the future?
If I could come back when it’s over, I’d want to see the future. Know where we’re going, what new things we’ll discover, and who wins the next couple dozen Super Bowls. If I couldn’t, I’d stay right here.

If you could invite someone famous, or a historical leader to dinner, who would you invite and what food would you eat?
Bill Belichick and a bottle of truth serum. I have so many questions.
