The Team Building Team
In this series of articles, we take five minutes to chat with a member of the TeamBonding team so you can get an idea of what sort of people we are.
In this installment, we talked to Mark, about his favorite TeamBonding experience, his superpowers, and more.
What is your favorite part of working for TeamBonding?
I love giving adults a license to have fun. I enjoy bringing the energy into a room so that they know it’s okay to let loose too! As an improviser and musician, the dynamic of a room is everything to me and being able to build atmosphere and connections through fun is such a joy.
If you could live in a book, TV show, or movie, what would it be?
So easy, Labyrinth with David Bowie. It’s such a magical and musical world that you can’t help but groove, smile, laugh, and Dance (Magic, Dance!)
If you could take only three items with you on a deserted island, what would they be?
My guitar, the Kids in the Hall book, and my Grant Lee Buffalo poster
If you could go anywhere on vacation, where would you go?
Venice. I have been before and count down the days til I am back again. Look out Venice, I am coming!
What is your favorite food? (If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?)
BBQ Chicken. I could have chicken for every meal and snack. It is the perfect food.
What is the name of your favorite restaurant? Where is it located?
Josie Kelly’s Public House (Ocean City, NJ)
If you could choose one superpower, what would it be and why?
The ability to fly, so much more convenient than driving.
If you could time travel, would you go to the past or the future?
The past for sure. Where we are now is indebted to the accomplishments of yesteryear. It would be great to move back to simpler times. I would love to move back and get to re-live all those unique decades like the 90’s and invest all my money into Amazon stock!
What is your favorite four-legged creature and why?
Puppies because they are down for anything and always in a good mood. A puppy makes a great homie and they are just so excited about everything, the joy is infectious!
If you could invite three famous, historical leaders to dinner, who would you invite and what food would you eat?
My roundtable would include Helmut Kohl (German Chancellor), Roland of the first Holy Roman Emperor Charlemagne, and Benjamin Franklin. We would eat sun-dried tomato sauce with pine nuts and noodles.
