Paul Giroux

Director of Facilitator Training

In this series of articles we take five minutes to chat with a member of the  TeamBonding team so you can get an idea of the sort of people we are. In this installment, we talk with our Director of Facilitator Training, Paul Giroux.

We sat down with him for five minutes to learn about everything from his favorite memory to the most important thing in life (family).

How long have you been with TeamBonding?
Since 2004!

What is your most memorable TeamBonding experience?
In 2024, our virtual and in-person programs led to an epic connection. In early June 2024, I hosted a virtual program for interns as they started their first week on the job. I facilitated Survey Says and it was a high energy program with lots of laughter and engagement. Throughout the program, we were encouraging participants to share unique things about themselves when a participant shared they worked with honey bees on a cancer project. Immediately, I stopped and declared we needed her to share her story with the group and it was a fun part of the memorable event. Fast forward two months… I was delivering the in-person program towards the end of the internship and I was walking around and working with participants when I hear someone SHOUT ‘Paul it is me HONEYBEE’!!! Admittedly I was like what… and then as it was repeated I exclaimed… HONEYBEE in real life! She thanked me for the passion and joy from both programs and I wished her well in her career as we both have a lasting fun story. I love what we do both virtually and in-person to make connections and provide experiences for people to find new ways to bond.

What do you do in your free time?
Family, family, family and the Patriots of course!

What is your favorite place in the world to be?
My two favorite places are HOME as I travel a lot, but my wife and I love to visit Jamaica!

What’s the song you listen to the most?
Kenny Chesney, Darius Rucker and Zac Brown Band – listens to podcasts, pop country, and whatever the kids play on bluetooth.

What is your favorite food? (If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?)
Steak

Describe yourself in three words:
Passionate, energetic, loving.

The most important thing in life is:
Family

Something people may not know about you:
Outside of work, I am mostly quiet.
