The Team Building Team
In this series of articles, we take five minutes to chat with a member of the TeamBonding team so you can get an idea of what sort of people we are.
In this installment, we talked to Samual, about his favorite TeamBonding experience, his superpowers, and more.
What is your favorite part of working for TeamBonding?
I love connecting with the new team through building our containers and energizers! Every team is unique and its an honor to remind everyone that each of their voices and energy matters and is valuable to the whole team!
If you could live in a book, TV show or movie, what would it be?
I initially thought Lord of the Rings…but then dragons, orc armies, and evil wizards sound like more of a challenge then I need in my day-to-day…so let’s go with being a Na’vi in Avatar…but pre-human mech warrior interference.
If you could take only three items with you on a deserted island, what would they be?
A sailboat with a solar-powered engine in tow, a solar-powered GPS, and the exact coordinates to civilization…I’m getting off that sandy mug.
If you could go anywhere on vacation, where would you go?
A travel itch that hasn’t been scratched yet…a 2 week backpacking trip through the Scottish Highlands, with a half-way 3 night stay at one of those old hunting lodges, complete with roaring fire and peaty scotch.
What is your favorite food? (If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?)
Miyeok-guk, the seaweed, beef, and garlic Korean soup that’s traditionally given to mothers after giving birth…rich in iodine, iron, and calcium. If it’s good for Mama regeneration…it’s good for me.
What is the name of your favorite restaurant? Where is it located?
Luties in ATX…it’s our anniversary spot ;).
If you could choose one superpower, what would it be and why?
Ultra-efficient regeneration…like Wolverine. I don’t necessarily need the leg-up in other unique physical feats, but it would be amazing to never have knee, hip, or back issues forever…plus I could hike every incredible path on the planet until I’m like a good and healthy 150 years old.
If you could time travel, would you go to the past or the future?
Ooooo interesting…I think the future.
What is your favorite four-legged creature and why?
A playful and cuddly hound-dog…no explanation necessary
If you could invite three famous, historical leaders to dinner, who would you invite and what food would you eat?
Scottish revolutionary Sir William Wallace, Chinese Pirate Queen Ching Shih, and Odawa Chief Obwandiyag (Pontiac)…and we would eat venison backstrap steaks, ox tail soup, wild rice, a root vegetable medley, and a smattering of fresh greens.
