By filling new and gently-used handbags with essential items, we not only aid them in regaining stability but also convey the community’s care and support, underlining the undeniable force of hope that unites us.

Donations of filled once-loved handbags, give hope to women in the U.S.
This philanthropic team building event is designed to shed light on challenges endured by domestic abuse survivors and their children.
In Hopefull Handbags Global, your team works together by packing new and gently-used handbags with essentials, symbolizing community support and encouragement. Many of the recipients are moms caring for young children while trying to find work. Something as simple as a presentable purse to carry into a job interview can provide a needed boost in self-confidence. And landing that job just might be the first step to a better life.
This heartwarming activity helps your people learn things they never knew about each other, all while providing an opportunity to collaborate in fun new ways. Specific activities like a purse scavenger hunt, encourage them to work together and solve problems as a team. Throughout the program, they’ll also learn about the equality challenges that women continue to face.
We see it play out again and again, for groups of all shapes and sizes – the team that gives together grows together.
Space requirement

This event works best in large meeting room or ballroom. Each team needs a table with enough chairs for everyone. You’ll also need 7 large rectangular tables with a chair at each. Additional needs depend on your number of participants.
