Give the gift of literacy in this hands-on charitable program that combines the building of Little Free Library® kits with the power of AI-generated artistic storytelling. In this unforgettable event, teams will work together to create a children’s book and to assemble and decorate their libraries, ultimately creating a permanent neighborhood book exchange for the community while having fun and connecting as a team!

Build little library kits & WOW your community!

Putting books in children’s hands has a meaningful impact on improving literacy, and Little Team Library will do just that. Every two teams will work together to assemble and decorate a Little Free Library® with a matching mounting post and bookmark box. They will also be tasked with co-writing a children’s book using the power of AI. In the process, they will get to know each other better by sharing inspiration as they collectively work towards a common goal. We provide all the materials, and everyone will have opportunities to shine as they build, paint and write. Teams will have to work together to divide and conquer the tasks at hand, all while being prompted to share memories of their own favorite books and literary quotations.

Collaboration is a must to create a cohesive and impactful theme and design that will attract people to your library once it is placed. Teams will designate carpenters, artists, and authors as they work together in pairs to build their complete Little Library kit – children’s book and all. At the end of the event, each pair of teams will present their finished products and share their stories with the entire group.

Space requirement

A large space is needed with a table for each team (teams of 8) and chairs for each participant. Additionally, you’ll need 2-3 rectangular tables set aside near the front of the room for event materials. For groups larger than 50, will need a microphone and connected sound system.

A custom placement of the finished libraries is possible with enough notice, as are custom placards for the libraries with 6-8 weeks advance notice.
